- Fulfilling customer parts orders in a timely and consistent manner.
- Providing outstanding customer service in-person and over the telephone.
- Assisting the Parts Manager with inventory levels of parts.
- Managing the customer parts order process and resolving any order discrepancies.
- Administering customer warranty parts returns and processing all required invoices and paperwork.
- Receiving incoming goods and checking against purchase orders.
- Preparing and shipping customer orders while ensuring order accuracy.
- Interfacing with other departments as needed.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
- Covering the counter at other facilities when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in an automotive customer service/retail environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong computer literacy and experience with Microsoft software
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Knowledge and understanding of truck equipment and/or automotive industry parts sales and service
