Electrical Distribution Specialist

Key responsibilities include:
Constructing and maintaining powerlines and associated infrastructure
Repairing and replacing damaged or faulty equipment
Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations

About the role:
Construct, maintain and repair overhead transmission or distribution powerlines
Work in a team environment to deliver on Yurika projects located across Australia

About you:
Trade qualified as an Electrical Linesperson (Distribution)
Hold a current electrical linesperson licence (Queensland preferred, but other Australian states/territories or NZ will be considered)
General Construction Induction card
Current C class open drivers licence
Demonstrated knowledge of and ability in the construction and maintenance of an electricity distribution/transmission system
It is also highly desirable that you have:
Current 'MR' or 'HR' class drivers licence
High Risk Work Licence for elevated work platform vehicle
Current competencies in First Aid, CPR, Low Voltage Switchboard Rescue, Pole Top Rescue, and Safe Work at Heights
Current S11 Generic Coal Induction – Surface
Working knowledge of Energy Queensland and Yurika policies, procedures and safe work practices
