About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Fitter Mechanic to join our team at Energy Queensland. As a key member of our distributed energy solutions team, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative, fit-for-purpose solutions to our customers across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical infrastructure, including metering and telecommunications systems.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of energy solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of energy solutions that meet the needs of our customers and the energy market.
Requirements
  • Current Electrical Workers License.
  • Trade qualified within Northern Territory or ability to obtain mutual recognition.
  • Strong knowledge of electricity distribution/transmission systems, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network.
  • Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and external customers.
  • Ability to identify and understand customer needs.
  • Current 'C' class open Drives Licence.
