Mobile Mining Equipment Technician

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Mining Equipment Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive tyre changes/maintenance on a range of mobile mining equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine inspections and assessing wheel components to remain in service;
- Entering data into our revolutionary tyre management system;
- Maintaining pressures and quality in accordance with site specifications;
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of Earthmover tyre fitting experience on mine sites and hold a Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy (AUR21916/AUR21920). A valid Open Class driving licence is also required.
Additional requirements include:
- A high level of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure;
- An understanding that safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures;
- A high level of maturity, initiative and the ability to work well under pressure;
