Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Tyre Technician to join our team in the Hunter Valley, NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive tyre changes/maintenance on a range of mobile mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake planned and reactive tyre changes on a range of mobile mining equipment
  • Perform routine inspections and assess wheel components to remain in service; enter data into our tyre management system
  • Maintain pressures and quality in accordance with site specifications
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Earthmover tyre fitting on mine sites
  • A Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy (AUR21916/ AUR21920)
  • A valid Open Class driving licence
  • A high level of initiative and ability to work well under pressure
  • An understanding that safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures
