About the Role

The Marketplace team at Wavemaker is responsible for delivering exceptional implementation planning and buying services, encompassing both offline and online media types. Our team is powered by data, technology, and automation, ensuring client campaigns are executed and amplified in an effective, efficient, and future-facing way.

The role of the Executive within the Marketplace team involves implementing approved client media plans, ensuring efficiency and rigor in the process. This includes:

  • Developing a deep understanding of the media landscape and consumer insights
  • Implementing media buying strategies to achieve client goals
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless campaign execution
  • Providing clear and concise communication to clients and stakeholders
  • Identifying and addressing campaign performance issues

Key Responsibilities

In the first 3 months, you will:

  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and internal teams
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Wavemaker's agency and group proposition, core Marketplace processes, and our way of working
  • Immerse yourself in the team, understanding the status of all active and upcoming campaigns

In the first 6 months, you will:

  • Demonstrate your ability to deliver on all aspects of the role in an efficient, effective, and proactive manner
  • Owning the Marketplace processes for specific allocated clients/campaigns from end to end, ensuring regular updates on campaign performance
  • Strengthening key stakeholder relationships to deliver great team work consistently

In the first 12 months, you will:

  • Taking on greater ownership for campaigns and clients – responsibility and volume
  • Building strong relationships with publishers, representing the Wavemaker team appropriately and ensuring campaigns are delivered to the highest quality
