Job Summary

Deliver high-quality patient-centered care as a Registered Nurse in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Supervise and support less experienced clinicians, promoting a culture of learning and growth within the team.

Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices, ensuring continuous quality improvement and excellence in patient care.

Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated competencies in nursing care, including knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in providing care in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Effective clinical communication skills, utilizing information technology, written, and verbal means, with the capacity to interact with others in a professional and personable manner.
  • Application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualized person-centered care, with a commitment to quality improvement.
  • Ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care, demonstrating leadership and a willingness to adapt to change.
  • Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, with evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancing skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and organize workload, delivering care with integrity and accountability.

This is a Category 'A' position; read NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015. All new employees must comply with the policy. OASV requirements include proof of vaccination against influenza and are compulsory for NSW Staff entering Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs) or working in NSW Health RACFs.

Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, or the ability to live and work in Australia on a Temporary Visa.
