Perioperative Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Perioperative Nurse to join our team at Prince of Wales Private Hospital. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation and evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Deliver patient-centred care, prioritising the needs of patients and their families.
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Supervise and direct nursing team members to ensure effective patient care delivery.
- Proactively assess and improve the quality of perioperative care, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Document patient care and outcomes accurately and timely, using accepted abbreviations and terminology.

Requirements- Current registration with AHPRA.
- 2 years' postgraduate experience as a Scrub/Scout Nurse.
- Working with Children check (if relevant).
- Commitment to quality patient care and compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
