Position Overview

As a Perioperative Nurse, you will be an integral part of a surgical care team, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients throughout their surgical journey. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for surgery, providing comfort and support.
  • Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes.
  • Administer medications and anesthesia as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver top-notch patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
Qualifications
  • Current APHRA registration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Certification in perioperative nursing.
  • Prior perioperative nursing experience – Minimum of 2 years experience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
