Job Opportunity: Mental Health Rehabilitation Service Manager
The CALHN 24-Bed Inpatient Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit is seeking an experienced and compassionate leader to fill the role of Team Manager.
This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of consumers by providing operational management, coordination, and leadership in delivering contemporary, evidence-based care.
A strengths-based, person-centred approach to care and clinical rehabilitation is essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, be able to foster a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed environment, and drive positive consumer outcomes.
Key responsibilities include leading the recruitment of a dynamic and skilled rehabilitation workforce, commissioning new services, and ensuring staff orientation and training. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure best practice care.
As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will inspire high-quality care and clinical rehabilitation through collaboration with inpatient, community, and rehabilitation services. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment.
The successful candidate will have expertise in mental health clinical rehabilitation, a strong understanding of contemporary care practices, and the ability to lead change initiatives that promote best practice care delivery.
