Job Description

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist Career Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation management team, you will be responsible for collaborating with treatment providers to ensure the best recovery outcomes for our clients.

You will also attend workplaces on a weekly basis to learn the physical demands and responsibilities of various job roles, providing valuable insights to support safe and timely returns to work or maintenance at work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with treatment providers, including doctors, specialists, and allied health professionals, to develop comprehensive rehabilitation plans.
  • Conduct workplace assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to prevent workplace injuries.
  • Provide clinical opinions and justification through report writing, ensuring that all recommendations are based on evidence-based practice.
  • Educate workplaces on how to manage and prevent workplace injuries, promoting a culture of safety and wellness.
Requirements
  • AHPRA or ESSA registration is essential.
  • Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy is required.
  • Proven experience in occupational therapy or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this role.
