Job Description:

As a skilled Scaffolding Leading Hand, you will be responsible for coordinating site teams to ensure the safe and efficient erection and dismantling of scaffolding structures in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

The primary objective of this role is to provide leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring that all tasks are executed accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for interpreting plans, drawings, and written instructions to execute scaffolding tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading site teams to achieve project milestones
  • Ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and company policies
  • Identifying and communicating site hazards to maintain a safe working environment
  • Delegating responsibilities to team members based on their strengths, weaknesses, skills, and willingness
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid scaffolding ticket/certificate and relevant industry qualifications
  • Previous experience in Scaffolding with a minimum of 2 years in a team leader position
  • Thorough understanding of industry rules, techniques, and safety protocols
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment
