Our firm is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Attorney to join our team. As a key member of a two-partner team, you will focus on patent litigation and contentious IP matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake both contentious and non-contentious work in the areas of patent litigation and other contentious IP matters.
  • Act for leading companies across IP-rich sectors and technologies, including pharmaceuticals, mining, automotive, electronic gaming, and fast-moving consumer goods.
  • Participate in proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia, High Court, as well as Patent Office and Trade Mark Office proceedings, and appeals.
  • Advise clients on global trade mark protection strategy, including managing large global trade mark portfolios.

Requirements:

  • Intellectual Property Attorney at the Associate level with 2-3 years of experience.
  • Strong focus on patent litigation and other contentious IP matters.
  • Collaboration with other partners across the firm is essential.
