Job Title: Speech Pathologist

Ability Action Australia is one of the largest providers to the National Disability Insurance Scheme, supporting over 10,000 participants every year with the care they need, when and where it is needed.

We have a multi-disciplinary team approach, building a quality support service around the needs and goals of our participants and their family.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner.
  • Deliver speech pathology services to participants within schools, homes and the local community.
  • Use clinical observations, standardised assessments and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions that help participants get more out of life.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the Speech Pathology Association as a Speech Pathologist.
  • Experience working with National Disability Insurance Scheme participants.
  • Relevant insurance including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  • Police clearance, Working with Children Check and National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Screening Check.
  • Active Australian Business Number.
