**About the Role: Rehabilitation Assistant**

We are seeking a motivated and caring professional to join our team as a Rehabilitation Assistant. As an integral member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals return to work after injury or illness.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, medical practitioners, insurers and employers. You will be responsible for assisting and shadowing our rehab consulting team, undertaking assessments, report writing and other administrative tasks.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. A current vehicle licence and ability to travel for work are also essential.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assisting and shadowing the rehab consulting team
  • Undertaking Worksite, Functional, Ergonomic, Equipment and Home ADL Assessments
  • Report writing and other administrative tasks
  • Designing, implementing and monitoring programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce

**What We Are Looking For:**

  • Qualifications or current enrolment in Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Counselling or Social Work
  • Current Vehicle Licence and ability to travel for work
  • An understanding of workers compensation, rehabilitation and occupational health and safety legislation is desirable
  • Excellent customer service and organisational skills
