Job Title: Maintenance Expert

Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour welcomes guests into a world of luxury blending French Art de Vivre and local culture. As a Shift Technician, you will be part of a team dedicated to executing exceptional luxury experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out various repairs and maintenance tasks as required, maintaining accurate records in designated systems.
  • Perform relieving duties when necessary.
  • Liaise with other departments concerning environment control, fire safety, and emergency procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Chief and Assistant Chief Engineer to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of hotel maintenance requirements.
  • Complete all tasks within a 15-minute timeframe of receiving requests.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar role and relevant hotel experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
