We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our team at The Benevolent Society's Early Years Centre. As a key member of our under 2's room, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment that fosters children's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement a daily program that promotes active play-based learning, agency, and responsiveness to children's strengths, interests, and curiosity.
  • Work closely with the Early Childhood Teacher or Child Development Specialists to develop effective programming for individuals and groups.
  • Guide reflective practice sessions for educators and provide on-the-job support to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Engage in community initiatives to connect with parents, carers, and the community, such as parent information sessions and community events.

  • Good time management and organisational skills, including flexibility.
  • Experience developing a rich curriculum and up-to-date pedagogy.
  • A commitment to leading your own intentional reflection to continually build practice and outcomes.
