Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team at the Wilton and Fairhill mine sites, based in the Central Queensland region.

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair heavy diesel equipment, including CAT 789 Trucks, 773 Service Truck, 992 Loaders, and D10 & D11 Dozers.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with mobile plant equipment.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience maintaining mobile plant equipment.
  • An unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
