Job Title: Ruby on Rails Developer

Description

We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using frameworks such as Ruby on Rails.

You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions, drive best practices in technology, and support continuous improvement within the team. Your strong technical skills, combined with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, will enable you to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the construction and enhancement of services for a Learning Management System and integration of teaching products. You will also have the ability to analyze application processes and implement improvements, and to mentor and provide quality assurance for junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks.
  • Design and implement Object-Oriented solutions, Service-Oriented Architecture, and APIs.
  • Integrate systems through APIs and enhance existing application processes.
  • Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions.
  • Mentor and provide quality assurance for junior team members.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven web development experience with Ruby on Rails, .Net, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong background in Object-Oriented design, Service-Oriented Architecture, and API development.
  • Experience in system integration through APIs.
  • Ability to analyze application processes and implement improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
