Financial Director

Catholic Healthcare is seeking a highly experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity and sustainability of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end delivery of financial services, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all financial functions.
- Report and analyse on efficient, compliant, and risk-adverse financial activities.
- Monitor and optimise cash flow to ensure liquidity for daily operations and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure controls, guidelines, and processes are in place to identify, control, and manage financial risks to the organisation.
- Oversee and monitor the production of monthly and annual financial accounts.
- Manage the completion of the annual interim and final audit programs.
- Conduct financial analysis to support informed decision-making, in line with the strategic requirements to enable growth in a profitable and sustainable manner.
- Evaluate financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement or cost savings.
- Manage the development and review of accounting and financial policies and procedures.
- Lead fleet management, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure fleet services meet safety regulations and business needs.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualified.
- Previous experience working within the aged care/Healthcare industry highly desirable.
- Demonstrated significant experience in a similar-sized organisation.
- Previous experience in managing end-to-end financial operations.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing, analysing, and translating and documenting business requirements.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, diverse stakeholders, and executive leaders.
- Demonstrated people-effective people management experience.
