A rewarding opportunity exists for a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at a 115-bed inpatient and outpatient dedicated rehabilitation facility located in Sydney's Upper North Shore.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to manage a mixed caseload of patients with orthopaedic, reconditioning, and neurological conditions. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to promote patient independence and functional ability.
- Prescribe and provide equipment to support patient rehabilitation and recovery.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications or experience in rehabilitation therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
