Automation Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our Maintenance Group. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and experience with automation systems.
Job Responsibilities:- Maintenance, repair, and operational functions of Telemetry, PLC, SCADA, Instrumentation, and Industrial/Automation Communication networks
- PLC software development utilising various protocols and programming
- Provide technical advice to clients and other electrical staff
- Repair and maintenance of WAN hardware/Industrial Ethernet systems
- Electrical Trade Qualifications with a current Qualified Supervisor Certificate for Electrical Work
- Post trade qualifications in Automation, Instrumentation, or a similar related field
- Formal competency in PLC, SCADA, Telemetry, or Instrumentation systems
The successful candidate will have advanced skills in using PLC's and SCADA systems for fault finding, demonstrated experience with large SCADA systems, and experience with Industrial Ethernet systems.
They will also possess a strong understanding of MS Office suite, ability to interpret Engineering drawings, OEM manuals, and standards.
