Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at JJ's Waste & Recycling. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our fleet of vehicles.

• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of our fleet, ensuring compliance with company standards and legislation.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance requirements, including breakdowns and repairs.
• Manage records, planning tasks, and forecasts to ensure efficient operations.
• Provide technical support and assistance to drivers and other team members as needed.
• Collaborate with regional and national fleet management teams to ensure seamless operations.

• Trade qualification in heavy commercial vehicles.
• Experience in vehicle or fleet maintenance.
• Good product knowledge and understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Current HR and Forklift license.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Able to satisfy a pre-employment medical and drug testing.
