We are seeking a seasoned Collection Lead to spearhead our team of pathology collectors in delivering exceptional patient care and customer service. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for mentoring, guiding, and managing your team to ensure they have the necessary support and resources to thrive in their roles.
">About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of providing high-quality patient care and customer experiences. As a Collection Lead, you will be reporting to the Area Manager and will be responsible for the management of a designated area of Accredited Collection Centre (ACC) sites and the coordination of day-to-day operations.
You will be working closely with a range of stakeholders, including Collection Trainers, Area Managers, and other senior management, to ensure that designated ACC sites meet all relevant accreditation standards and People & Culture requirements.
">Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of pathology collectors to deliver high-quality patient care and customer service
- Mentor, guide, and manage team members to ensure they have the necessary support and resources to thrive in their roles
- Manage day-to-day operations of designated ACC sites, including coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and People & Culture requirements
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance and skills
- Collaborate with Collection Trainers, Area Managers, and other senior management to achieve organizational goals and objectives
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A sound knowledge of and experience in the pathology industry, preferably with 5+ years' experience as a Pathology Collector
- Proven ability and experience in leading teams, with a focus on developing and mentoring team members
- Capability to function autonomously, prioritizing work and the work of others within established policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Ability to identify new or improved opportunities and processes to enhance organizational strategy
- Well-developed administrative skills, including effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Vaccination requirements, including evidence of Hepatitis B vaccination

Vacation Requirements
Vaccine preventable disease evidence, such as Hepatitis B, is a requirement of this role. Other vaccinations based on location may be required.
">Pathology Experience
This role requires extensive experience in the pathology industry, preferably with 5+ years' experience as a Pathology Collector. You will need to demonstrate a sound knowledge of and experience in leading teams, with a focus on developing and mentoring team members.
