As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be part of our Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure and Operations team, responsible for designing, building, and operating Microsoft's global datacenters.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage advanced technical expertise to coordinate multiple work streams and resources in highly complex crisis situations.
  • Respond to incidents during regular on-call rotations, identifying the level of impact, troubleshooting, and deploying fixes to resolve root cause(s).
  • Drive post-mortems and share insights related to highly complex incidents and their resolution.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge and expertise as the technology landscape evolves.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and 5 years of technical experience in critical environments, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of technical experience working within Data Center Operations or distributed systems.
  • Management Information Systems (MIS), or other industry or product-specific Engineering Certifications.
