About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Centre Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Perth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the full management of the warehouse and client account, ensuring efficient, safe, and profitable operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team that delivers exceptional customer service and maintains a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Develop and implement operational processes and standards to support the handling of customer freight.
  • Provide regular performance reports and analysis to the State Manager and State Financial Controller.
  • Implement a culture of continuous improvement, driving efficiency and cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including WHS and environmental regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of success in warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Demonstrated experience managing people at all levels, with a focus on leadership and development.
  • Previous P&L and/or Cost Centre accountability, with a strong understanding of financial management.
  • WHS knowledge and responsibility, with a focus on maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current HR and IR best practice, with experience in negotiating Enterprise Agreements.
