Our Hazelmere Distribution Centre
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our Hazelmere Distribution Centre team. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in supporting our distribution operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate high reach forklifts, LO stockpickers, and counterbalance forklifts to move goods and products within the warehouse and distribution centre.
- Unload and load inbound and outbound stock, and efficiently stack pallets to ensure maximum storage capacity.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure shipment accuracy and report any quality variances.
- Pick and pack products using RF scanners, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform manual handling duties, including lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, and reaching, to move goods and products.
- Identify and escalate any food safety and quality issues, hazards, and risks.
Requirements
- Hold a current LF/LO license with at least 12 months of experience.
- Understand and follow instructions and procedures.
- Work well within a team environment.
- Communicate effectively both written and verbally.
- Display commitment, reliability, and motivation.
- Work in a chiller environment.
- Be physically fit and able to repetitively lift up to 20kg.
