Concrete Pump Operator Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced concrete pump operator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, clean, and store equipment before and after use.
  • Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
  • Follow pour plans and pump concrete according to layout and specifications.
  • Inspect pipelines and concrete mixes to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Communicate with dispatch, crew members, and contractors to coordinate operations.
  • Maintain accurate pouring records and report any issues.
  • Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Comply with OH&S and environmental regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid MR Truck Licence for Line Pumps.
  • Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) Truck Licence for Boom Pumps.
  • Valid White Card.
  • PB ticket (to work on Booms).
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Physical strength and stamina for outdoor work.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail for slumping concrete and equipment checks.
  • Problem-solving skills for on-site adjustments.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and personal protective equipment.
  • Communication and coordination skills.
  • Time management and reliability.
  • Ability to adapt to different job sites and conditions.
