Job Title: Concrete Pump Operator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concrete Pump Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of practical experience operating concrete pumps in the civil construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain concrete pumps in accordance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Safely navigate concrete pump equipment to distribute concrete to specified locations on construction sites.
  • Collaborate closely with the construction team to ensure accurate positioning of the pump and optimal concrete flow.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and promptly report any issues or maintenance requirements.
  • Monitor concrete flow and make adjustments to controls as necessary to maintain consistent and appropriate flow rates.
  • Keep the concrete pump and associated equipment clean and well-maintained.
  • Adhere strictly to safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among colleagues.
  • Provide assistance with general labor tasks on construction sites when needed.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience operating concrete pumps within the civil construction sector.
  • Possession of a valid HR ticket.
  • Current and valid certifications for concrete pump operation.
  • Familiarity with concrete pump equipment and its operation, including understanding of controls, functionalities, and maintenance procedures.
  • Solid grasp of safety protocols with a demonstrated ability to adhere to them diligently.
  • Physical resilience and ability to work in diverse weather conditions and demanding environments.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a knack for effective collaboration with team members.
  • Keen attention to detail coupled with a dedication to delivering work of high quality.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as dictated by project schedules.
