Small Engine Mechanic Apprenticeship

About the Role:

Brandt is offering an apprenticeship program in small engine mechanics. As a trainee, you will learn the skills to become a highly qualified and in-demand professional.

You will gain experience working with various outdoor power equipment and machines, including STIHL products. You will complete a Certificate III in light vehicle mechanical technology and develop your skills in diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of vehicle and machinery systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake apprenticeship training or continue your training.
  • Perform service and repairs on mowers and gators to a high standard.
  • Diagnose faults and rectify them according to approved procedures.
  • Prepare new and used equipment for delivery.
  • Provide high-quality customer service.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a high quality of adherence to company values and respect. You will also require the ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and prioritize tasks under pressure.
