Environmental Cleaning Professional

We are seeking a diligent and organized Environmental Cleaning Professional to join our team in maintaining cleanliness across various areas of the hospital.

The role will involve ensuring high standards of cleanliness in wards, operating theatres, and kitchen facilities by cleaning equipment, restocking supplies, and storing them in designated areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness standards in wards, operating theatres, and kitchen facilities.
  • Clean and store equipment according to guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care.
  • Set patient meal trays and serve patients while adhering to food safety practices.
  • Wash up and maintain a clean workspace following safety protocols.
  • Support other team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in cleaning or a related field is an asset.
  • Understanding of food safety principles and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance with HACCP, Food Safety, Workplace Health and Safety, and Infection Control standards.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certificate II or III in Hospitality are beneficial.
  • Background in cleaning services is preferred.
