Key Role in Business Restructuring and Insolvency Division:

Senior Insolvency Accountant

This is a key role in our business restructuring and insolvency division, where you will work with diverse clients and report directly to partners.

  • Assist with planning assignments using control forms, checklists, and quality procedures.
  • Investigate insolvent entities' finances, analyzing financial statements and records.
  • Prepare reports for external stakeholders.
  • Handle stakeholder inquiries via phone and written communication.
  • Manage VAs with managerial assistance.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4–5+ years relevant insolvency experience.
  • Strong investigation skills and a successful track record in recovering voidable transactions.
  • Experience with Australian insolvency legislation.
  • Understanding of the Corporations Act and related laws.
  • Bachelor of Business or similar qualification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive, responsible, with a positive attitude.
  • Willing to mentor junior staff.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, MYOB.
