Job Title: Experienced Insolvency Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insolvency Accountant to undertake complex assignments in Business Restructuring and Insolvency. The successful candidate will engage with diverse clientele, report directly to Partners, and contribute to the growth and excellence of our division.

Hall Chadwick is a chartered accounting firm providing professional services in areas including Insolvency, Business Advisory, Audit, and Tax. We aspire to be the advisory firm of choice, offering niche specialisations that promote our reputation for excellence.

The Role:

As an Insolvency Accountant, your duties will include:

  • Conducting investigations into insolvent entities' finances, including analysis of financial statements and accounting records.
  • Preparing reports for external stakeholders.
  • Attending stakeholder enquiries over the telephone and in writing, preparing written responses as required.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant insolvency experience, ideally 4-5+ years.
  • Strong investigation skills and a record of successful recovery of voidable transactions.
  • Experience with Australian legislation applicable to insolvency.
  • Solid understanding of the Corporations Act and other relevant Legislation.
  • A Bachelor of Business degree or similar.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Responsibility and proactivity with a 'can do' attitude.
