Randstad Tasmania is seeking a skilled Concrete Remediation Specialist to work with a respected client on multiple remediation projects across Northern Tasmania. This role offers ongoing work with opportunities for overtime and potential permanency.
About the RoleThis is a dynamic position that requires the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and be physically strong, able to work around water.
Key Responsibilities- High Pressure Hydro Demolition & Surface Preparation
- Gunite, or similar, spraying
- Industrial blasting & painting
- Manual labouring tasks
- Operation of hand and power tools
- General construction and assisting tradesmen in day-to-day duties.
- Hydro blasting experience - HPWJ/UHWJ Operator & or Assistant with the below competencies
- MSMSS00017 Use high pressure water jetting equipment.
- MSMSS00018 Operate a high-pressure water jetting system.
- Gunite or similar spraying experience
- Remediation experience
- White Card
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Physically strong and able to work around water
- Highly motivated and strong work ethic in team dynamics
- Ongoing work with hours every week
- Opportunity for overtime and potential permanency
- Weekly pay runs to ensure you are always paid on time
- Multiple opportunities available
