As an Offshore Chemist, you will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing offshore production chemical programs, ensuring the highest levels of service, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor and assess the impact of offshore production chemical programs on production, integrity, and environmental parameters
* Perform ongoing optimization of production chemical programs and undertake hydrocarbon, water, and gas sampling for routine laboratory analysis
* Maintain laboratory equipment, record keeping, and manage site inventories of production and laboratory chemicals
* Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosis of production upsets and issues
* Liaise with field operational personnel to communicate daily tasks and progress status of longer-term activities

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
* Minimum 3 years of experience in oil and gas or similar process chemistry position
* Proficient knowledge of application of production chemicals
* Understanding of production processes and systems from downhole to pipeline distribution
* Proficient use of computer-based programs related to application of products
* Ability to work and communicate well with others
* Good focus on all aspects of HSE
