
University Operations Manager

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management and coordination of cleaning operations within a university setting. This role demands strong organisational skills, effective communication, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish efficient administrative systems and procedures
- Coordinate supplies, chemicals, and consumables necessary for operations
- Manage client and supplier relationships
- Assist in report preparation and documentation
- Develop and implement training programs
- Schedule training sessions according to university standards
- Monitor staff training progress and certifications
- Receive and close out work orders efficiently
- Communicate priorities to cleaning staff effectively
- Maintain accurate records of work order progress
- Collect and analyse feedback from clients and cleaners to improve service
- Manage inventory requests for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Resolve complaints swiftly and professionally
- Process invoices related to work orders
- Generate performance evaluation reports
- Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations and policies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A proven experience in administrative management is essential, preferably within a university or facility management setting. Strong organisational and time management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with other relevant software are required. A demonstrated ability to develop and implement structured training programs, knowledge of OH&S regulations and compliance requirements, detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy, educational background with a Diploma in Business Administration, Management, or a related field are highly regarded.
