We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team in Victoria. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional service and quality to our customers by actioning a daily plan of service and warranty calls within the region.

Job Summary

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard, meeting customer expectations and providing excellent customer service. You will also be required to maintain accurate records of your work and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confirm scheduled times and access with customers via phone or other means.
  • Action daily runs driving to customer sites to meet agreed timelines, utilizing a daily plan of service and warranty calls.
  • Perform service tasks, measure, rework, refit, removal, reinstall products and parts, maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues for resolution, investigating faults and rectifying them in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain professional presentation of self, tools, and vehicle, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Collect COD balances where required.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in window and door servicing is highly regarded.
  • Professional service, presentation, and communication skills are essential.
  • A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail is necessary.
  • Proficient use of hand tools, levels, and tape measures.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to investigate faults, rectify, and fix in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Familiarity with safe work practices and compliance regulations.
  • Carpentry, glazier, joinery, or similar industry experience is highly regarded.
