Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to further your skills and experience as a Diesel Fitter Field Service Representative with a world-renowned OEM in central NSW.

As part of our team, you will enjoy working on technically challenging projects, servicing a variety of workshops and mine sites around central NSW, and staying in different mining camps and motel's while working away from home.

We offer a 7:7 roster with mostly day shifts unless night shifts are required, as well as an attractive hourly rate plus super + public holiday, weekend, and night shift allowances.

In addition, we provide a fully equipped modern field service ute and fuel card.

About the Role

As a Diesel Fitter Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for reporting to the field service manager and enjoying a varied role servicing multiple sites in central NSW.

Your duties will include:

  • OEM work - working on a variety of underground hardrock mining machinery. Warranty work, product support, fault finding & diagnostics.
  • Providing product support and training to crews across NSW.
  • Fully equipped modern field service ute and fuel card provided.
  • Travelling to various locations including Orange, Cobar, and Dubbo.

About You

We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong background in mining and a heavy diesel trade qualification (essential).

You should have excellent attitude towards work and safety, a high level of workmanship, and be looking to further your skills and develop your experience on UG mining machinery.

Additionally, you should be able to work autonomously and problem solve effectively.
