About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join NSW Health as a Clinical Advisor in the Home Respiratory Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the state-wide delivery of equipment services to individuals with chronic health conditions living in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise and support to healthcare professionals in the assessment, management, and treatment of patients requiring respiratory equipment and consumables.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of services and development of policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and the development of best practice guidelines.
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant Nursing or Physiotherapy qualification and current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrate extensive clinical experience and knowledge in respiratory and sleep health service delivery, particularly with regards to CPAP, bilevel, continuous ventilation, mechanical-inexsufflation, oxygen therapy, and related respiratory consumables.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
