Job Description:
  • Provide expert care to patients and their families in accordance with Nurse Practitioner legislation.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnoses.
  • Prescribe medications as needed.
  • Order and interpret pathology and radiological tests.
  • Provide telehealth consults to patients.
  • Refer patients to appropriate health professionals.
  • Manage patient care upon referral from other health professionals.
  • Prescribe and administer approved formulary medications.
  • Participate in peer and case review procedures.
  • Contribute to clinic workforce development programs.
