Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Advisor - HSE to join our client as a key member of their management team. As a Risk Management Advisor, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HSE strategies and programs that align with the company's objectives and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement HSE Strategies: You will develop and implement HSE strategies and programs that align with the company's objectives and processes, including risk assessments and audits.
  • Promote a Positive HSE Culture: You will promote a positive HSE culture within the organisation, ensuring that all employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Provide Training and Education: You will provide training and education to leaders on HSE matters, ensuring they are equipped to manage risks and maintain compliance with relevant standards.
  • Work with Central Teams: You will work closely with central HSE teams to align local practice with global policy, while maintaining compliance with Australian standards.
  • Provide Performance Reports: You will provide regular HSE performance reports to senior management, highlighting areas of improvement and progress towards goals.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A minimum of Certificate IV in WHS, with Diploma preferred.
  • Solid Knowledge: You must have solid knowledge and understanding of the implementation of safety policy, including risk assessments and audits.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with leaders and employees at all levels.
  • Experience: Proven experience in designing and implementing HSE strategies, with a strong track record of improving safety and reducing risks.
  • Ability: The ability to conduct risk assessments and audits, and provide recommendations for improvement.
