About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Casual Cook to join our team at The Brook in Point Cook. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items to exact specifications, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Support senior chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks, including food assembly and plating.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of ingredients and kitchen supplies, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Food Handlers Certificate.
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced pub/bistro environment.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
