Digitisation Specialist Lead

Leading the Digitisation Centre and implementing a digital preservation programme will be a pivotal role within the Library.
You will manage a team of professionals to deliver high-quality digitisation and digital preservation services, ensuring the Library's rich collections are stored, managed, accessible, and preserved.
The successful candidate will have experience in motivating and developing a high-performance team, with a demonstrated capacity to engage with new technologies and integrate them into existing systems. They will provide leadership to the Digitisation Team in delivering high-level and professional services, effective achievement of the Library's priorities, and providing expert advice at both strategic and operational levels.
This key position will drive planning, designing, developing, and launching efficient digitisation systems and processes that support the Library's core functions in supporting learning, teaching, and research.
You will work closely with leaders across the Library and contribute to delivering the University Library's strategy and operations.
In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across the University to optimise the Neil Campbell Bequest and establish a digitisation centre.
