Job Opportunity: Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced mental health professional to join our team. As a mental health specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting evidence-based clinical practice and supporting the development of early intervention youth mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychological interventions and clinical assessments to young people presenting with low-moderate mental health concerns.
  • Promote evidence-based clinical practice and support clinical decision-making for care provided to young people.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to determine appropriate clinical pathways and contribute to the development of youth mental health services.
  • Participate in regular case review meetings to ensure high-quality care for clients.
Requirements:
  • Registered Psychologist or Social Worker degree.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working as a qualified mental health professional.
  • Experience and knowledge of the National Standards for Mental Health Services and ability to support new graduate practitioners.
  • Knowledge of and experience working within the Family Systems Theory, Trauma Informed Care, and systemically informed care.
  • A current, unrestricted driver's licence.
  • The right to live and work in Australia.
