NCR Voyix is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our South Pacific Field Services team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and resolving technical issues at customer sites.

You will work closely with your Territory Manager and have access to comprehensive training programs, including regular in-depth product training and ongoing support from global Technical Support Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and resolve technical issues with Self Check Out (SCO), Point of Sale (POS) machines, and other Voiyx products for customers
  • Effectively manage parts inventory and maintain a well-organized system
  • Engage in continuous learning through online and classroom training sessions
  • Work independently in both field and office environments
  • Possibly engage in extensive travel, handling toolkits or parts of varying weights (1-20kg), and performing tasks that require standing, walking, or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Interstate travel may be required
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have prior experience in repairing PCB hardware
  • Familiarity with software uploading processes
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in electro-mechanical device repair and aptitude
  • Previous experience with Self-Serve Checkout repairs or installations
To excel in this role, you must possess:
  • A passion for new technologies and innovations
  • Willinss to travel and complete service calls as assigned
  • Ability to work autonomously, professionally, and communicate effectively
  • A valid Australian State Driver's license
  • Full COVID vaccination
  • Experience with electromechanical equipment
  • High attention to detail
  • A valid full-time working visa, Permanent Residence, or Citizenship
  • Residency in Australia and ability to commence work within a 4-6 week period
