Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Credit Underwriter to join our residential lending team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough credit assessments and approvals for residential loans in line with established guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with valuers, solicitors, brokers, and financial advisers as required.
  • Develop and implement effective credit strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Contribute positively to a positive company culture and work environment.

About You:

  • Hold at least 2 years of residential lending credit experience with PAYG and/or self-employed/trusts.
  • Have held a DLA of at least $500k currently or previously.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Have well-developed relationship management skills demonstrating strong internal stakeholder management.
  • Be an exceptional team player with a strong attention to detail.
