Merchandiser Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled merchandiser to join our national team. As a key player in growing brand presence in each category and driving sales growth in independent supermarkets, this role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual.

The successful candidate will have 1+ year of experience in sales and merchandising in independent supermarkets groups, with excellent time management and organizational skills, enabling them to work autonomously. A friendly, energetic, and hard-working can-do attitude, combined with a passion for delivering results, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Sales Growth: Grow brand presence in each category through strategic product placement and promotions.
  • Cut in New Products: Cut in new products and line extensions to increase sales and revenue.
  • Optimize Store Layouts: Implement new planograms or planogram changes to optimize store layouts and improve customer experience.
  • Pre-Sell Promotions: Pre-sell promotions and events to maximize impact and drive sales.
  • Build Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key store personnel to ensure successful collaborations.
Requirements and Experience:
  • 1+ year of experience in sales and merchandising in independent supermarkets groups.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Friendly, energetic, and hard-working can-do attitude, with a passion for delivering results.
  • Great attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and current state driver's license (essential).
  • A smartphone or tablet for use during work hours.
