Job Summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in Brisbane. As a Heavy Vehicle Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers across various industries, including automotive, mining, and power generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel equipment, including engine rebuilding and reconditioning.
  • Inspect and replace components as required, ensuring adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Deliver a first-class service to customers, meeting their needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Mechanical trades qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Automotive Mechanic (light/heavy/engine recon).
  • Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy or light diesel products, preferably with Cummins engines.
  • Engine rebuild and reconditioning experience is highly desirable.
  • Solid diagnostic and IT capabilities.
  • Automotive industry experience is highly regarded but not essential.
