Job Summary
Cummins Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in Brisbane. As a Heavy Vehicle Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers across various industries, including automotive, mining, and power generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel equipment, including engine rebuilding and reconditioning.
- Inspect and replace components as required, ensuring adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies and procedures.
- Deliver a first-class service to customers, meeting their needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Mechanical trades qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Automotive Mechanic (light/heavy/engine recon).
- Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy or light diesel products, preferably with Cummins engines.
- Engine rebuild and reconditioning experience is highly desirable.
- Solid diagnostic and IT capabilities.
- Automotive industry experience is highly regarded but not essential.
