Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Senior Treasury Manager, the Senior Treasury Analyst will play a crucial role in executing funding and financial risk management strategies while delivering precise financial analysis and reporting to support the management of Stockland's treasury functions. The position requires close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist the Senior Treasury Manager in developing and executing funding and financial risk management strategies throughout the Stockland Group, adhering to applicable policies.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Treasury Manager to source, negotiate, and finalize all financing documentation, ensuring alignment with existing agreements and reflecting Stockland's commercial objectives.
  • Prepare and analyze treasury-related data to uncover key insights and provide recommendations that empower stakeholders to make informed decisions.
  • Coordinate the delivery of all internal and external treasury-related reports, ensuring consistency across the platform where feasible.
  • Manage relationships with external parties (banks, debt investors, derivative counterparties, and rating agencies, as necessary) to facilitate the execution of Stockland's strategy and that of its managed partnerships.
  • Proactively identify and implement continuous improvements in business processes, controls, management systems, and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and best practices.
  • Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities, including support for M&A and capital transactions as needed.

Candidate Profile

We seek a seasoned Analyst who can thrive in a dynamic and adaptable environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate accountability and ownership over multiple responsibilities. A proactive, results-oriented individual with the ability to collaborate and influence a diverse range of peers and stakeholders is essential.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills, qualifications, and experience:

  • Experience in analytical roles within treasury and/or financial markets.
  • A commercially oriented mindset, insightful, and exhibits curiosity.
  • Proven track record of engaging with various stakeholders in a business of similar scale and complexity, including exposure to intricate transactions and joint venture structures.
  • Experience in business partnering through insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with SAP and/or Reval is advantageous.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics is required.
  • CA/CPA/CFA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
